Traits
Age
Chaonds age similarly to humans, reaching adulthood around 20. But they live much longer, reaching an age of around 200
Size
Chaonds are around the same height as humans, but their shoulder are much wider and their arms are thicker. They weigh in the range of 140 to 160 lb.
Darkvision
You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Legacy of Limbo
You know the Thaumaturgy cantrip.
At 3rd level, you learn Chaos Bolt. At 5th level, you learn Detect thoughts - You can cast either spell with this trait once per long rest.
Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells when you cast them with this trait (choose when you select this race). None of these spells require spell components when you cast them with this trait.

Description
The implantation method used by the slaadi to reproduce is well known and feared, but what few planewalkers realize is that even when a victim is cleansed of the infection the remnants of chaos often persist. These lingering elements are overlooked as the unsuspecting soul continues about their life, but can become painfully obvious when their descendants appear more slaad than human. These hybrids are usually killed, but some are simply abandoned in remote places of the wild. Few survive on their own for long, but a small number manage to thrive and even procreate. As the generations pass, the slaad taint weakens and the human side grows stronger, allowing them to live lives that are more normal. The mark of chaos always remains with these plane-touched, known as chaonds, forever separating them from humans and even other planar creatures.
Chaonds are wider than humans and have thicker arms. Their hair and skin color slowly changes constantly, and they can have slightly webbed feet and hands.
Chaond Names
Chaond names are based on where they were born, and thus can be nearly anything. Suiting their chaotic nature, chaond like going by alternating nicknames before falling back on their given name.
